PlugOS is a complete operating system based on independent hardware, not "simulating an isolated space" in the existing system. This means PlugOS: has its own desktop, apps, file system, permission control; runs independently from the host system, no interference, no access; security level far exceeds ordinary apps or software clone solutions.

PlugOS runs in an ultra-portable smart security device that connects to your phone, tablet, or computer via USB-C interface. A lightweight client APP will be installed on the host.
The entire process is like this:
• Connect and start: Insert the PlugOS device into your Android phone, iPhone 15 (and newer models), iPad, or Windows computer.
• Client management: Your device only needs to install one client APP. Through this client APP, you can easily manage the PlugOS device. It will present you with a virtual desktop and let you reuse the host device's peripherals (like keyboard, screen).
• Independent operation: PlugOS runs independently inside the device, doesn't occupy the host device's storage and computing resources, and data is completely encrypted and processed inside the PlugOS device. Unplug it, and PlugOS "disappears", leaving no trace on the host.

PlugMate is built on a low-power, independent computing architecture and draws only a small amount of power from your phone or computer during operation. The system intelligently balances performance and energy efficiency to deliver a smooth experience while minimizing additional battery load on the host device.
In everyday use, PlugMate’s power consumption typically accounts for only a small portion of the host device’s overall energy usage and does not have a noticeable impact on battery life. Actual battery performance may vary depending on usage scenarios, applications, and the host device model.
PlugOS never accesses or monitors user device data.We put user privacy first from the very beginning of design.
• Data completely belongs to you: PlugOS adopts a "zero-trust" architecture. All your data is stored inside the PlugOS device and highly encrypted.
• We cannot access: Accessing your data requires your exclusive product key as the only credential, along with having your device. Without this key, anyone (including the TrustKernel team) cannot access your device data.
• Client is also secure: The PlugOS client APP installed on the host is only used for device management (such as authentication, communication, providing virtual desktop). It cannot actively obtain or access any user data in your PlugOS device.
